Asynchronous Multiplayer would be nice!!! Thank you
Needs a lot of improvement, but good idea
Good game but lacks a bit, you cant swipe pass the Other teams rock behind the line, the swiping system is good but doesnt always work. A tournament mode would be nice! Overall a good job.
I found that the rock went very slow and laggy i didnt like the game as much as i thought i would.
Please fix! Love this game and I do curl.
-The sweeping is difficult to make work while still seeing the rock. -sweeping in real curling helps keep the rock straight but in the game sweeping seems to cause the rock to curl. - using sweeping I was able to get the rock to slide directly sideways even after it had almost come to a full stop. I dont thats possible Im real curling. - this is minor but why is there glass around the rink? Its a curling rink not a hockey rink.
Cool game! Thanks to the developers!))
Good simulator to try curling) need to add some more features for shouting adjustments
If you know how to curl dont buy. Really confusing game controls. This game looks great, and has the potential to be a cool game, but the game controls are confusing and hard to master. The fact that you cant set a broom aiming point is a mistake, the force and direction controls are hard to figure out. And also very unlike the real sport. Im confused by why you can change how much the rock spins, also unlike the sport. And the fact that you can see and hear the person "push" the rock with their hand while they grunt, tells me the developer hasnt actually ever curled. Your bodys momentum moves the stone not your arm pushing it at last second. Graphics look great and I like how you can switch teams and uniforms, game fundamentals need a lot of work though.
This game is fun and challenging, although it gets some facts about curling wrong. The speed of the stones rotation does really affect the amount of curl, but more rotation does not simply equal more curl, as it does in this game. The game also allows you to throw a stone with no rotation which travels straight--as any curler knows, a stone with no rotation usually begins to rotate and curl unpredictably, so it is never really thrown that way on purpose. The physics of rock contact in the game are also strange. The shooter stone on bump backs often follows the stone it promotes, as if stuck magnetically, and the shooter bounces back when hitting double or triple takeouts, for example. Of course, these aspects of the game can be used to ones advantage, but if youre looking for realistic rock play, youll be disappointed. The hard level is seriously challenging, and Ive enjoyed the game a lot in spite of its failure to accurately simulate the real sport.
As pointed out by other reviewers, there is room for improvements. Having said that, I was amazed at how much the developers got right. You can apply most game strategies - as game dynamics are improved more will be available. One improvement I would like to see is a much greater magnification of the House. There were times when I could not determine if I had Shot Rock. A great start. I look foreword to improvements to a great game.
This game is fun and entertaining but needs like an Olympic tourney or something to strive for. Playing a single game is fun, but once you win thats it. I like this game but think it could be massively improved with a league or tourney style to make it more in depth.
View doesnt provide enough visibility to properly aim the short nor to know when to sweep. The physics are bad. A stone hits another stone dead on and they both go forward. A stone hitting 2 frozen rocks bounces back!
